Hi all, Having the same problem, and searching the web, I found a solution for this problem. Yes, my password is: Second,I have too many Software programs and need to delete firewall/antiviris. Definition file is ,so i dont know if its fprot or authentium.
It can be deleted in Safe Mode but always reinstates itself. I get it free with ntl.

Securlty under command antivirus. Where do I find these to delete them? I know the antivirus is authentium,but who is the firewall and antispyware from.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. Yes, Athentium uses F-Prot. Be sure to deactivate dvpapi from autorunning at next reboot! You most likely have a suite you got from your ISP or web-portal that includes the Authentium engine. It attempts to run a process named analyse.

Whether that accounts for securiity of your performance issues I don’t know, but that’s part of it. If that fails get help from someone familiar with registery editing as a last resort. Deleting Antivirus & Firewall – slow performance
It may have come with your computer. I should have mentioneed that while MGTools. If it’s anything like Norton or Mcafee it won’t be completely removed by an uninstall anyway. It would never install properly on my machine. However, I cannot see that in Control Panels nor in the Programs folder, I’ve checked msconfig for clues, and it’s nowhere to be found in the registry. We cannot help you unless you help us to help.
